In other news, Hollywood executive Harvey Weinstein was found guilty of two out of five counts of rape by a jury in New York. He's been remanded to prison.

Meanwhile, U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson has denied Roger Stone's request that she remove herself from her own case and courtroom.

Finally, the Commerce Department has declared that wooden cabinets and vanities imported from China are too cheap.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Department of Commerce on Monday said it had determined that wooden cabinets and vanities imported from China have been sold at less than fair market value in the United States.

The International Trade Commission is scheduled to make its final injury determination on whether U.S. manufacturers have been harmed by the imported Chinese wooden products by April 6, the department said in a statement.

U.S. officials launched their subsidy and dumping investigations at the request of the American Kitchen Cabinet Alliance.

In other words, can we expect to see duties or tariffs imposed on Chinese wood products sometime in the next month. And the chances that the American Kitchen Cabinet Alliance will eventually regret this are pretty high.
