One of the things I looked forward to about an Obama foreign policy was his willingness to sit down and have discussions with other nations - even our enemies - without demonizing them before they sat down at the table. McCain fell all over himself saying how dangerous this idea was during the campaign as though 'do unto others as your would have them do unto you' represented a grave threat.
So it shouldn't be a surprise that I like the same method of dealing with a former Democratic nominee for Vice President.
