In other news, North Korean officials are calling bullshit on Trump's version of events. Trump is probably lying or exaggerating to some degree, but the North is also probably lying or exaggerating to some degree. This is what happens when two snakes get together.

Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will soon be indicted for several counts of breach of trust, bribery, and fraud.

Finally, former Maine Governor Paul LePage (R) crawled out from under his bridge today to defend the electoral college in the name of white supremacy. And he apparently said this without a hint of irony.

Speaking to the hosts of the WVOM morning show this week, former Governor Paul LePage lambasted a bill being considered by Maine’s legislature to join with other states to essentially bypass the Electoral College and ensure that the President is elected by the national popular vote.

“Actually what would happen if they do what they say they’re gonna do is white people will not have anything to say. It’s only going to be the minorities that would elect. It would be California, Texas, Florida,” said LePage.

The former governor, calling into the show from his home in Florida, also labeled the proposal “an insane process” and warned that “we’re gonna be forgotten people.”

Programming note... I have a couple appointments to go to tomorrow in the afternoon hours so I will be offline. We'll be back in action here on Monday.

So..maybe the anti vaxxers should research chlorine washed chicken instead. The water containing chlorine is absorbed, and can form chlorine byproducts like trihalomethanes and others, so, the chicken you eat is far more likely to cause problems than a shot you get as a baby. This is why Britain doesn’t want American chicken. Our farms are so gross we have to sanitize the chicken in chlorine. I’m trying to find out if organic, air chilled chicken is ever exposed to chlorine, but, info not so easy to find.

It’s ten years old and I may have posted it before, but I still really like the song and the video.

Without being remotely funny, the idea that anything substantive ever had a snowball’s chance in hell of emerging from “the summit” (HA!) with North Korea was always a laugh. Listening to Trump brush aside Otto Warmbier’s death with his usual “lots of people” line was just fucking grotesque.

I have no personal stake in Israeli politics but watching Netanyahu cozy up to Trump and cheer the undoing of one of Obama’s signature achievements, the Iran nuclear deal was disgusting so, to hell with him.

    God willing…
