In other news, Trump finally got around to unveiling
Paul Ryan's his economic policy proposal today which includes suspending any new financial regulations and eliminating the estate tax, among other things. It's a giveaway for the Trump family.
Meanwhile, a new poll shows Hillary Clinton leading Trump by 7 points in... Georgia!
Finally, another Fox News host has come forward with her story of how Roger Ailes sexually harassed her.
According to Tantaros’s account, Ailes began harassing her on August 12, 2014. During a meeting in Ailes’s office, Ailes allegedly asked Tantaros to do “the twirl” so he could see her figure. She refused. Then, in mid-December of that year, Ailes made another advance, Burstein says. “Ailes asked her to turn around, and then he said, ‘Come over here so I can give you a hug.’” Tantaros rebuffed the advance, [Tantaros's lawyer Judd Burstein] says.
Fox News executives say no one told them about Ailes before Gretchen Carlson's lawsuit, but Tantaros says she filed multiple complaints and she's far from the only one who did.
I have no doubt that Roger Ailes harassed Tantaros and probably most of the women working at Fox, but I have to point out that Tantaros herself has blamed women for their own assaults multiple times over the years. Maybe it's time to rethink that position.
