Journalistic integrity
Bob Costas recently refused to guest host an episode of Larry King Live because it would have been approximately the 5,000,000,000,000,000,000,000th hour of television devoted to the Natalee Holloway disappearance. The full story is here.
I say, "Go Bob!" If I thought for one second that the media blitz would do anything to bring her home safe, I'd be all for it. But it won't, and there are other news issues that Americans need to know about.
The article goes on to add that Keith Olbermann lost his first MSNBC show over a similar spat involving the Monica Lewinsky case. Does it concern anyone else that the only two journalists still interested in reporting real news are former sportscasters?
