The Bush administration:

September 11th response: Bush reads "My Pet Goat" then runs away.

9/11 Commission: Bush gets an "F" for preventing a new attack.

Katrina: Both Republicans AND Democrats give Bush a failing grade.

Cheney: Ordered Scooter to leak classified national security documents to the press.

And somehow the White House is winning the national security debate? Democrats! Go! Go, go, go! You can win this debate, just stand up!

On that note, some advice to Democrats. Stop prefacing everything you say on television with, "While I agree with [Republican pundit or politician]..." Stop it! Please!

Some thoughts...

-The NSA eavesdroppers must be going crazy today. A lot of e-mails blasting through the internet containing the words "Cheney" and "shooting".

-The only reason the victim was injured was because Cheney refused to give him the proper body armor.

-The Bush Cultists have begun their "buh-buh-but what about Chappaquiddick?" defense. Heard a marble-mouthed yokel call the Bill Press show with this argument on Sirius Left today. Shameful and pathetic. The caller, not Press.

-Plummer alerted me to this article at FireDogLake. Why the delay in reporting the incident? Before we consider conspiracies, we have to remember: the White House is slow to respond to everything. 9/11, Katrina, the Asian Tsunami. Maybe if Cheney shot the corpse of Terry Schaivo.
