NO!
This doesn't sweeten the deal for Senator Clinton. President Bill Clinton:
"Well, the first thing she intends to do, because you can do this without passing a bill, the first thing she intends to do is to send me and former President Bush and a number of other people around the world to tell them that America is open for business and cooperation again."
See, after January 2009, we don't want to hear from another Bush. Ever. If Senator Clinton actually wins, she'd be better off sending a lump of shit around the world wearing a stupid little hat.

I really think the Clintons have this funny feeling that being associated with the Bush's is some sort of boost for them. They really need to pick up a newspaper or talk to people in this country, because they obviously haven't figured out people are tired of the name Bush.

I agree with both of you. Over the past years though, HW and Clinton have obviously become fast friends and have worked on join projects together for people's benefit.
Although HW is undoubtedly totally embarrassed by the idiot he produced, for some reason, he and BC hit it off - if I'm not mistaken, they did a lot for the survivors of the Indonesian tsunami efforts along with other projects of this kind.
I never liked any of the Bush's - HW is simply a pathetic old man who still defends his son because he doesn't know what else to do.
I don't even see that he has any political clout at this point.

But BOB! She is the Candidate of Change. How better to express that than by sending the same two old coots around the world to do good?
She wants us to think that by electing her, we bring back the good ol' days of the Clinton Administration (notice I didn't say "first" Clinton Administration). Yeah they were fun, but it was 10 years ago and the world (allegedly) loved us. Anyone want to bring back the heady days of the Carter Administration?
The current administration, with help from key Democrats, has made the world despise us, shit all over the constitution, made their friends frighteningly rich at the expense of all else, and promulgated a foreign policy that pretty much sez "Do what we tell you or we'll do something incredibly stupid and childish."
It's gonna take a whole lot more than sending Gampy and Pa Clinton travelin' to get this all fixated.

damn right! I don't want to hear the "B" word again after January 2009, unless it's regarding indictments... Jeb, stay in your hole!

This article sums up my feelings about the Clinton's:

No more Clinton's, no more Bush.

Especially no more Bush -
Jeb won't run - won't happen. His wife was not born in this country and his kids are half Colombian (he met her in school). With the "immigrant" issue being pushed by the Thugs, I doubt he would put her through being trashed by both parties.
Unless Babs can shove out another one, we are hopefully through with this Dynasty.
I may be forced to support Hilary if she is the Democratic candidate - I cannot under any circumstances vote for a Thug next year. I agree I don't want her, but I want "any Republican" less...

I think the only thing that's going to fuck this up for Obama/Edwards/Clinton is a (seemingly) strong Independent. I would love nothing more for an Independent to become President/VP some day soon, but now is not that time, and I was a Nader defender in 2001- even after the election (still am). I hope Gore sticks with the environment where he can make a difference.
If you listen to Mr. A at The Cold Bath, he thinks they're still weighing Jeb's chances. Let's hope he's wrong, but he has been right about this sort of thing before...

They may be weighing his chances, but being married to a hispanic/latina will absolutely doom any chances he might have had.
The Republicans have decided to hate brown people - they sure aren't going to run Jeb when his wife isn't caucasian.
And I don't think he'd put her out there for open season.
I'm sick of the whole bunch, but in good conscience, I cannot support the Party of the Pig regardless of who the Dems toss up as candidate. The country needs a HUGE swing back - again, this is just my opinion.
We've had enough of trying to turn us into a fascist state thank you.

You're giving them a little more credit than I would, but you're probably a much nicer person than I am. I don't think they give a shit about anyone, and I think they may try to use her race as a way to point out that, "The Bushes don't hate darkies, ya see, Jeb lets one live in his house and she doesn't have to clean a thing!"
And holy shit! I had no idea there was a new episode posted today, how perfect. Three episodes in 10 days, who woulda thunk it.
