Attacks Since 9/11

Matthew Yglesias:

"There has not been another attack on our soil since 9/11" -- anthrax! Anthrax! Oh well. For some reason that whole episode has been officially erased from the historical record or something.

Anthrax. And the DC Snipers. They were jihadists.

Prior to 9/11, we weren't attacked on our soil between 1993 and 2001. I'm not a math smarty, but I think that's eight years -- without torturing, wiretaps, preemptive invasion, and without killing habeas corpus.

But we had that terrorist attack in 1998? Don't you remember the attack by Ocuma al Fellatio? They talked about all over the world - even on al Jizzera . That was far worse than 9/11 or Iraq or anything else. Even the right wing blogs are celebrating the 10 year anniversary this week (while honoring their "Big Bubba" dildos).
