Choo-Choo Choose!

Aravosis has a good point. Time to choose, people. Senator Clinton or Senator Obama. If you're on the fence, please read my post below regarding Senator Clinton's campaign tactics. Do we want a new paradigm or more of the same DLC style Democrats?

Meanwhile, AmericaBlog has a straw poll running:

Obama 72% (1177)
Clinton 28% (447)

OBAMA!

HRC can no longer run on the principle that she's the only one that can beat John McCain in the nationals. They're not fond of him. Reading the War Room moments ago, it sounds like Michelle Malkin has thrown her only remaining rod over the prospect of McCain being the nominee. More and more, right-wing-nuts are freaking out over the notion that he is the nominee.
I think we can be certain that Cheney is going home in '09. Without Cheney and his Evil, Gooey Center to hold things together, it looks like the Empire is crumbling.

Obama.

But seriously, I will take either Obama or Clinton over the Repugnant candidate. Go Dems!

OBAMA!

And regarding Hillary beating John McCain - did anyone see the polls coming out of Florida yesterday? McCain beat Romney by appealing to self-described "moderate to liberal" Republicans. I read one comment where an independent said between McCain and Obama, he's voting for Obama. Obama has a long track record of bringing independents and moderate Republicans to him. Hillary has a long track record of turning those voters away. From a crass political strategy standpoint, Obama is a better bet to beat McCain that Hillary.

But this is bigger than those crass points. Obama is a winner. Obama has come from way behind in every state to either win or tie (I'm not counting states Clinton said she wouldn't campaign in). In November, she was up by double-digits in SC: and look what happened. The media is in love with their "Bill's hurting Hillary" meme, and while there is truth to it, to be sure, it undercuts the fact that Obama and his campaign are on the rise and have been for two months, while Hillary's campaign is dropping and flatlining.

My Republican uncle from Indiana has never voted for a Democrat in his life. He read Obama's book last year. And he's voting for Obama.

Well I voted in that straw poll this morning, and contributed to that 72% Obama majority.
That said, I believe that the fix is in, on the repiglickan side, for Mitt Romney.
Think about it.
Who can they (meaning the same neo-con puppet masters who have run the GOP show for years)control? McCain? the cracked senile coot? The "Maverick"? No.
They'll go for the stuffed shirt puppet who can be most easily controlled and managed. Just like chimpy. Just like Reagun. History repeats itself over and over.
