The Gulf of Prankin' Incident

Navy Times says the Hormuz incident might have been an hilarious Iranian prank:

The threatening radio transmission heard at the end of a video showing harassing maneuvers by Iranian patrol boats in the Strait of Hormuz may have come from a locally famous heckler known among ship drivers as the “Filipino Monkey.”

[...]

“For 25 years there’s been this mythical guy out there who, hour after hour, shouts obscenities and threats,” he said. “He could be tied up pierside somewhere or he could be on the bridge of a merchant ship.”

And the Monkey has stamina.

Unfortunately, so does our monkey.

Goddamn. We almost went to war with Iran -- which might've precipitated World War III -- over a dude named the "Filipino Monkey".

Makes those assholes who shit all over Ron Paul in the debate (whom I don't particularly like) look like the blood thirsty lap dogs that they are, doesn't it? They're a fucking embarrassment to us all.

Now if you ask him about Valerie Plame, he can't talk about it. Legal stuff, ya know. If you ask him about the CIA interrogation tapes, he can't talk about it. Stuff is being investigated. In other words, it is being investigated. A sketchy video of an encounter between Navy warships and a few Iranian speed boats where no shots were fired, and suddenly he can talk about all kinds of things. All options on the table. Iran is a dangerous regime. We cannot allow our bombs not to fall on Iran.
Which is why I been tellin' people, if you want to prevent World War III, it seems to me you would get that chimp and his trainer out of the Executive as soon as possible.
