That gave me goosebumps. It is exactly as Senator Obama said last night, that the Democratic nominee must be the result of the will of the people, not the result of arm-twisting super delegates and closed door deals. If it was the will of the people that Senator Clinton be the Democratic nominee, then the primary and caucus votes would have been cast in her favor. They have not. This one is truly a no-brainer. Obviously, Senator Clinton believes she is the best candidate for the highest office in the land. My god, if we believed everyone who said they were up to the task,some day we might find ourselves being led by none other than the first child left behind. If we can, with Senator Obama's leadership, pull this country back from the edge of the abyss, the last seven years may have a chance at being remembered as our 'dark age" and I, for one, could stop sitting shiva for our democratic republic.
