Special Comment

Regarding Olbermann's FISA special comment from last night, Jane Hamsher noted this passage in which Olbermann quoted Senator Kennedy. This is the heart of the issue:

The President has said that American lives will be sacrificed if Congress does not change FISA. But he has also said that he will veto any FISA bill that does not grant retroactive immunity. No immunity, no new FISA bill. So if we take the President at his word, he is willing to let Americans die to protect the phone companies.

That is beautiful. Kennedy via Olbermann summarized in three sentences what most of us have yet to tap into.

Holy shit, I love that man. What would we do without him?

Thank you Mr. Olbermann.

If NBC had even one nut in it's collective sack, Keith Olbermann would be hosting the evening news.

May the Gods of Fortune always bless Olberman..Say what you will about the MSM and Ill agree with most...But I always take a stand when people slam Olberman..At least he has the Guts and Patriotism to call a Facist a Facist....People get upset when they hear such attacks on our POTUS...But what would become of Mr Bush had the likes of T. Jefferson, G. Washington, and other founding fathers been alive during the last 7 yrs??? Lets just suffice to say it could get ugly...Even my 5 yr old can sense it.. With no prodding or coaxing, every time GW Bush is on TV my son says Daddy Theres the Dope... About Sums it Up....anyway..Kudos to Olberman...
