The Clinton Statement
Here's the statement from Maggie Williams (via TPM):
Enough. If Barack Obama's campaign wants to suggest that a photo of him wearing traditional Somali clothing is divisive, they should be ashamed. Hillary Clinton has worn the traditional clothing of countries she has visited and had those photos published widely.
This is nothing more than an obvious and transparent attempt to distract from the serious issues confronting our country today and to attempt to create the very divisions they claim to decry.
We will not be distracted.
Yeah, well, Senator Clinton doesn't have this religious/patriotic whisper campaign circulating about her. So the photo, for Senator Obama, takes on an entirely different context and they know it.

She's also not a multi-racial man with the middle name Hussein or a last name that idiots like Glass Cock keep "confusing" for Osama. Nor does half of her family live on the African continent.
Jesus fucking Christ, with every week I am shocked that anyone is still voting for this campaign at all.

So they were just circulating it because why? They found it in their photo album and said "Oh shoot, remember this one... he looked so nice, let's get this one out there for him."
Let Obama manage his own photobucket account, k thanks.
And Maggie Williams knows exactly what's going on. Another pathetic and disappointing attempt.

I don't even know what to say to this anymore. It's all so transparent, yet somehow they manage to say these things with a straight face. It's really very sad. They've lost their dignity at this point.

when people with a mental illness audition for American Idol - it is funny. Hillary is like that.

I hope that tonight Mrs. Clinton tries that "experience" line and Obama can call her out on only having experience folding like Origami and taking large sums of money from lobbyists.
