The Popular Vote

Do you think the Clinton campaign ever imagined this?

Clinton: 50.2% (7,347,971)
Obama: 49.8% (7,294,851)
Difference: 53,120 votes
Feb 5 National Gallup Poll: Clinton 47%, Obama 42%

From the same source:
Democratic votes for Clinton and Obama: 14,622,822 (63.6%)
Republican votes for McCain, Romney and Huckabee: 8,370,022 (36.4%)

You are truly awesome! This is exactly what I was looking for earlier. I had a feeling that the votes for even one of the Dem candidates would be close to the total votes of the repugnicans combined. I can't wait to see what happens next.
