DLC Lines You Can Xerox

Bruce Reed, president of the DLC, wrote the "change you can Xerox" line for Senator Clinton.

How meta-wrong is this? Let's start with the fact that someone else wrote the line for Senator Clinton -- a line which was intended to blast Senator Obama for doing the same thing.

Then we discover that it was written by Clinton surrogate Bruce Reed, president of the centrist, capitulating DLC, of which Senator Clinton is a leading member.

Then there's the DLC itself which used to be despised by the liberal blogotubes, but now, since Senator Clinton is running, has largely been ignored.

This is just very sad, but give it time. Right now they are basking in the glow of breaking even the other night. After WY and MS, the long knives may come out and she'll be subject to more scrutiny again.
You're point is well made, however. Her campaign has consistently been about saying one thing while clearly being about the exact opposite. She has somehow tapped into that Rovian Ether that allows candidates to just plain lie and get away with it even though the truth is right there for everyone to see. It's some sort of dark magic. Or maybe just good lying...
