Saw on HuffPost that Edwards is booked for Leno tomorrow night (Thurs 3/20), & the rumor is that he'll use the appearance to endorse HRC. That rumor, however, apparently came from Mark Halperin, who seems to have historically been an HRC spinner, so perhaps there's nothing to it. I certainly hope not. This is war for what remains of the soul of the Democratic Party, & if JRE endorses HRC... well, then he was always just another opportunistic southern pol. If he's real at all, he needs to endorse Obama, or at least stay silent.

I can tell you with certainty that he will try to make the case for Hillary, whether he actually "endorses" or not. He finds her to be extremely intelligent, gracious, and personable on a one-on-one basis, and he feels she's been unfortunately handicapped by how she comes across in public and how she's been getting the short end of the media stick. He feels Barack doesn't yet have the experience, though he does acknowledge that he has "something special", and is worried about his healthcare plans versus Hillary's. Having issues with the Clinton's lobbyist ties as well as seeing the excitement Barack brings to the party have been the 2 key issues preventing him from speaking publicly before. IF he endorses, it will definitely be Hillary, and he is doing it now as it might be her last chance.
