Senator Clinton Endorses Senator McCain
"I think that I have a lifetime of experience that I will bring to the White House. Senator John McCain has a lifetime of experience thathe’dhe will bring to the White House. And Senator Obama has a speech he gave in 2002."
Posted without comment, because you don't want to hear what I have to say about Senator Clinton for this one.

Rachel Maddow put it perfectly last night on Countdown: this is the statement of someone running to be John McCain's VP, not the statement of someone running to be the Democratic nominee.

Absolutely pathetic and disgusting.
I was hoping she would knock this shit off soon so I could go back to attacking Republicans, but I'm too busy with her as of lately.

I'm getting to the point where nothing they do/say surprises me anymore. And that's really fucking sad because it's the same horrible feeling I have had for the last 7 years. Shock and Awe.
The pictures of the two of them at the top of that article are priceless.

I can't believe this is how we want to be seen by the rest of the world.

Actually, it's a little scarier than your transcription would indicate. Instead of saying, about McCain, "that he'd bring to the White House", she says "that he will bring to the White House". I guess she believes the both of them will be there. (at the same time?)

Could they have picked a more demonic-looking picture of Clinton?? Jeezzz!
Seriously, I'm one of those people who don't care who the Democratic nominee is. Right up until I walked into the voting booth back on Feb 5th, I wasn't sure which to vote for (actually, I was supporting Kucinich & Edwards, both of whom were still on the ballot here in CT) and that's never happened to me before. All I really want is for the Bush administration to be out of the White House & in jail! And when I watch the machinations of the campaigns it's upsetting & disturbing to me. It's like everyone has forgotten all the shit the Republicans have pulled all these years and are intent on destroying the Democratic party. (Not here so much, which is why I enjoy reading the comments here, so no one, please, be offended by that, ok?)
And yeah, I wouldn't mind seeing this nomination go to the convention, only because I like the suspense factor of who the nominee will be, rounds & rounds of roll call votes & a convention that's actually interesting for a change.
I am not happy with what I've seen in the news re: HRC's campaign, but if she's (by some miracle) the nominee, I'll vote for her. And if Obama is, I'm enjoying watching SOTU speeches again.

Dragging this out to the convention would be interesting, I agree, if the convention were in May. However, the convention is at the end of August. That leaves about eight weeks for the Democratic candidate to campaign nationally against John McCain, the Republican candidate that will be able to run nationally from now until then. We have to have this wrapped up no later than May. I'd prefer it be wrapped up tonight, but unless Barack Obama wins Texas, Ohio and Rhode Island with something like 85% of the vote, I'm guessing she'll find some reason to keep going despite the consistent losses. We'll hear about how "you know, in 1832, John P. Codswallop didn't leave the race until mid October. So, you see, it's too early to start talking about leaving the race. We're in it to win, blah blah blah blah..."
This cannot go to the convention. Yes, it would be exciting and geeky and I would love it, but we cannot risk losing the Presidency by slogging this thing out until August.

I can't stand to even watch Hillary speak anymore. My gag reflex is very strong.
