Senator Evan Bayh: Smart!
Senator Bayh has a dumb-ass smart idea -- decide the nominee based on electoral votes. Naturally, this plays into the backwards Clinton logic that just because Senator Clinton won New York and California etc., Senator Obama somehow won't win those states in the general election. Which is horseshit. You mean a Democrat won't win California? That's rich.
Also, you'll notice that Schecter's site is officially moved over to the Agonist. You might also notice that our site here isn't listed in Cliff's blogroll. I'm sad and hurt.

The smell of desperation in the morning.
The Clintonoids are willing to kill and eat their own children if that's what it takes to make her the nominee.
These people are batshit nuts.

The Clinton Campaign SmartBrainLogicon 2000 has determined the California Primary to be a Big Win, even though it was 52/43 - certainly not the ass whooping the Barack Campaign has been putting on the Clinton Campaign in state after state after state. The New York win is more of a shut out, and kudos for the Clinton Campaign managing to win it's "home" state.
Her campaign is doing a very good job of changing the rationale of why she should be the nominee every week. It sounds eerily reminiscent of a mildly retarded, half evolved simian (sorry to the simians out there) idiot of a President coming out week after week after week with new reasons we should invade Iraq.
This is a nice look into what her Presidency would be like. If she'll go to these lengths to subvert the system just to win the nomination, what the hell will she do to our Constitution when that gets in the way?

Fixed ya dork.
On Bayh- He was a phenom Governor, good Senator (if a little too DLC for me), but since he hitched his star onto Hill's wagon, he's turned into a true lite blue Clintonista. When he was thinking of running for Prez, I called his office and told him to get the f' off it. I feel the same way about his "supposed" VP nomination.
Ain't. Gonna. Happen.
To lnbno13- He's the kind of Dem that the majority of Hoosiers have wanted for the past decade, but keep an eye out- Things are changing.

Oh yeah, electoral votes. People LOVE the concept of the electoral college - set up by men who felt that the "little people" might not be grown up enough or smart enough or responsible enough to elect a good president directly. They're really thinking hard over at Clinton headquarters, eh?
And now that Bob is unhurt & unsad, here's one to make ya all smile. My daughter shared this with me & since I don't have my own blog to post the link on... Those crazy McCain backers are at it again: (keep watching, it gets better...but then, it would have to.)

We own property in S. Indiana, do the majority of our business there, and will probably be moving there later in the year, so I have no room to talk. I live in KY and we're responsible for McConnell, 'nuf said.

We are equal opportunity in Indiana...Bayh and Lugar!
The latest reasoning was put forth by Joy Behar on The View this morning. Since there are so many new Democrats registering to vote in Pennsylvania we should view their votes as the most current take on the race and go with the candidate who gets the most votes there! The other candidate should bow out!
Unbelievable!!!
