You've GOT to be kidding me

Via TPM, Geraldine Ferraro on how HARD it is for an African-American to be elected president:

Ms. Ferraro offered a similar sentiment. “I think it’s more realistic for a woman than it is for an African-American,” said Ms. Ferraro. “There is a certain amount of racism that exists in the United States — whether it’s conscious or not it’s true.”

“Women are 51 percent of the population,” she added.

When did Geraldine say this?

2006.

Hillary, Geraldine and the Clinton campaign have lost what a thinking person would call their souls.

Since I first voted in 1984,I have unfailingly voted for the Democratic candidate for the presidency, but if Hillary Clinton somehow secures the nomination,I will be skipping that portion of the ballot.

I cannot,in good conscience, vote for what is essentially a Republican on the Democratic ticket.

There's a huge amount of white affirmative action that most whites swim in. GF calls it racism.

Gee, I wonder if George W. Bush would have been elected president if he weren't white? In fact, if George W. Bush isn't white and his last name isn't Bush, I imagine he's bagging groceries at Kroger or pumping gas at the local Shell station. Just sayin'

I think you're being a little harsh. Geraldine Ferraro has said she is not a racist, and I take her at her word. Because she said it, it must be true. Ferraro is not a racist... as far as I know.
