High Pitch Pat Buchanan
High Pitch Pat is on MSNBC right now painting Senator Obama as a San Francisco Hollywood Harvard elitist who stereotypes middle Americans. He just said, "This is what he thinks of us." Us, Pat? Pat is a wealthy Washington insider.
Buchanan is still welcomed on MSNBC, even though he wrote that America has been the greatest nation for African-Americans...because of food stamps.
I have to turn off the TV.

Bob, riddle me this.
In going back and forth all morning trying to get a feel for how this was going over, I can say with some certainty that Fox (yes, Fox) has been the most even handed on this kerfluffle. Go figger.

I saw that exact same thing Bob and was ready to break my TV. I live in southwest Ohio and what Obama said was right on. I can go up and down my street and point out houses were the bread winner has lost their job, due to outsourcing. They are bitter indeed, yet they go to church every Sunday and give the money they don't have to the collection plate and as soon as hunting season hits, they are out there killing anything that moves.
I love how they get elitists and D.C. insiders to act like "common workingman America".
It looks like CNN may have actually taken the right road on this one. Check this out:

About a week or two ago, Joe Scarborough attempted to make something out of the fact that Obama went into a diner, was offered a cup of coffee, and replied "I'll take orange juice" . Joe said something to the fact that when offered a cup of coffee he just should have taken the coffee...like asking for orange juice was some kind of insult to the diner owner.
They have no shame, do they..Joe, Buchanan, et al.
I have become very selective with who I will watch anymore...Joe ain't one of em. I'm down to just Keith and trying to find Michael Ware on CNN when I can. Thank God for the blogs...Yours especially!!

I agree about how lame these people(Buchanan,Scarborough) are. And I have to say I was very shocked at how Olbermann reported on Obama last night. Breaking News?? I think he must have been misinformed somehow. It was so shocking to see what the CNN group had said about the very same thing. It was much more what you would expect from Keith. He usually gets right to the heart of the matter.
I just came across a link on The Fix to the The Tide Is Turning video. I had never seen it, and I love it. It made me tear up. There is so much need. There is so much sincerity in Obama's campaign. It was clear from the beginning that he would threaten every established system/person existing and that it would probably be impossible. It seems to me that the fact he has gotten to this point does not get as much recognition as it warrants. It is a miracle.
THANKS so much for making that beautiful video.
