Have fun. Even though the people at customer support there said that I'm ok to comment, I'm still getting the "sorry, you're banned" message and they aren't responding to follow-up emails. :(

GRR. I don't know why that is, ceu. Maybe they're hyper-aware of O'Reilly trolling the comments looking for off-color remarks.

Why does the Clinton camp keep pointing out that Obama has soooo much more money and therefore Clinton is at a disadvantage?? Obama has more money because more people are supporting him! If they wanted Clinton to be president, they'd be sending her money instead.
And when did someone who was up by something like 25% little more than a month ago become the "underdog"??

(Bob, you can delete my comments. I'm just used to commenting when primary results come in...)

I'm thinking that it's entirely possible that Pat Buchanan will have a stroke on the air. He's already foaming at the mouth.

Clinton's campaign is going to be "reenergized". God help us.

Could someone PLEASE tell Joe & Pat that Hilary did not win Texas?! Obama came out of it with more delegates, which is how winning is judged.

Did Buchanan just tell Rachael to "hold the Marxist dialog"? What does that even mean?

Bob - please, please delete these comments. I'm typing 'cause I can't seem to help myself! :)

Okay - asking for money at a victory speech is just downright tacky

How do you suppose she'll make herself into a native son of Indiana and North Carolina?

Posted by: ceu [TypeKey Profile Page] at April 22, 2008 10:22 PM

ceu- have you tried to clear your cookies (sorry, it's a bit late, but ya know, hockey is on)?

Posted by: lnbno13 [TypeKey Profile Page] at April 22, 2008 10:31 PM

Yeah, I did - didn't work. Good idea, though. Thanks!

Posted by: ceu [TypeKey Profile Page] at April 22, 2008 10:41 PM

Sorry, I tried. Have you tried using anohter PC? If yes, and it didn't work, just ask them if you can create a new account.
Completely unrelated, I'm watching Paul F Tompkins on VH1 (cannot find anything but Hillary's mug on other channels) talking to some hick about Obama being one letter from Osama is just like Nader being one letter from Vader. Fucking hilarious.

My understanding is that they banned the ISP address. The one email I did get from HuffPo support was very nice - apologetic, said that there were no restrictions on my account & that I should feel free to post. I asked if I could just create another account, but have had not response to that. Tried to, with a different email address, but that didn't work, either.

Just before Super Tuesday, I said that I didn't care which of the candidates got the nomination as long as there was a Dem in the White House. Now I can't bear to listen to Clinton speak. How things have changed!

Now - hopefully Bob will delete all these comments so people here won't think I'm batshit crazy, too!

Posted by: ceu [TypeKey Profile Page] at April 22, 2008 11:23 PM

Nobody thinks you're batshit crazy! But that's bullshit, they can't ban an IP address (if they banned your ISP there would probably be a whole lot of pissed off people), that's just stupid. So what do they do if it's a University? That's absurd. I would send them another polite email telling them there is a mistake and that they need to correct it. It should be an easy fix.

Personally, I don't like posting on HP because there are just too many douchebags looking for an argument. I read the comments sometimes, but just skip over the majority of them. I prefer the cool folks here...personally.

Did anyone else notice the 3 Abercrombie & Fitch "dudes" standing behind Obama during his speech?

It bothered the snot out of me for some reason.

Posted by: Jimmyz [TypeKey Profile Page] at April 23, 2008 07:35 AM

Yes Jimmyz, I did! Just posted about it under Baracks video. Weird, Huh?

Woo-Hoo! I'm back at HuffPo. (doing the dance from "The Jerk") I AM somebody again!
Yup - just in time to look foolish for having talked mostly to myself last night. Ah, well.
