Rachel Maddow vs. Scarborough
The topic: Senator McCain selling out to the Bushies. Rachel Maddow totally made Joe Scarborough look like the droning apologist he is. Check it here.

Maddow was in fine form on her birthday. Scarborough got visibly angrier & angrier as she went on, calling him on his bullshit. It was a truly beautiful moment. Right on, Rachel!

Joe is the typical "If I talk loudly enough, everybody will agree with me. They'll have no choice" type of talking head. Allowing the others to have their say is not his style. Rachel, however, showed that she's more than equal to the task of holding her own against him. He just can't handle it when someone doesn't act like Mika and kowtow to him.

I listen to Rachel's show (by podcast) almost every day. She had Paul Waldman of Media Matters on her show on 3/26 and they talked at length about the media's love affair with John McCain.
You'd think the Joe Scarboroughs of the world would be at least smart enough to never ever invite her to the show. She is always ready to talk intelligently about the subject at hand, and they never ever are. They come off looking uninformed and just spout talking points.
Let's hope she gets her own TV show real soon.

Is it just me or is Rachel M. getting hotter and hotter all the time? I think being in the MSM suits her just fine. She must be fighting off the ladies with both hands and both feet :D
She's brilliant. And I didn't realize she had a podcast.

Tonight on Countdown, Olbermann asked her if she was ready for tomorrow night, and then added that they couldn't tell the listeners ready for what. Could be she's going to substitute for KO? She'd be head & shoulders above any of the other substitutes.
I don't know if she's getting hotter, but I do like having her on the air as a brilliant counterpoint to the idiots.
