How Cool Is This?

Posted By Bob Cesca

We can safely look forward to Senator Obama's convention acceptance speech. And how cool is this:

I had a moment last night when I realized something significant about the historic timing of the Democratic convention. The Democratic nominee (Obama) will give his acceptance speech on August 28, 2008 ... 45 years to the day of MLK's "I Have a Dream" speech. The dream does, in fact, live on.

And some highlights from Senator Obama's 2004 keynote address:

Another coincidence... The 1988 convention keynote speaker went on to be the nominee four years later. That'd be President Clinton.

I don't believe in coincidences.
