Lessons

Posted By Bob Cesca

Knowing that my study of politics is an on-going process, I've been thinking about some lessons I've learned during this primary campaign. Here are two eye-openers:

--There remain some sensible Republicans. Not many, but some who are willing to acknowledge the changing tides of history.

--There remain too many racist and sexist liberals.

I made calls to Indiana on Sunday for the Obama campaign and it was incredibly eye opening! I have never heard more vile and disgusting things before. Living in No. VA, I feel so removed from that. This one lady was so disgusting, I felt that I had gone back in time. I was so pleasantly surprised to see that Obama had only lost by 2% in Indiana and felt a great sense of vindication. He kicked and continues to kick ass!
