Scott!
Just in from the Politico and Scott McClellan's new book... (in my best Frau Farbissina voice) SCOTT!
• McClellan charges that Bush relied on “propaganda” to sell the war.• He says the White House press corps was too easy on the administration during the run-up to the war.
• He admits that some of his own assertions from the briefing room podium turned out to be “badly misguided.”
• The longtime Bush loyalist also suggests that two top aides held a secret West Wing meeting to get their story straight about the CIA leak case at a time when federal prosecutors were after them — and McClellan was continuing to defend them despite mounting evidence they had not given him all the facts.
• McClellan asserts that the aides — Karl Rove, the president’s senior adviser, and I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby, the vice president’s chief of staff — “had at best misled” him about their role in the disclosure of former CIA operative Valerie Plame’s identity.
Two reactions:
1) DOY!
2) Now he tells us.
3) Is it over yet?

My two reactions:
1) "Misled" him? His job is to wait patiently until someone sticks their hand up his ass to work his puppet head. No one misled him. He knew the kind of people he was dealing with.
2)The White House press corps was too easy on them during the run up to the war? Well that's as it should be. No one likes a male prostitute to work them over too much. Well most people don't like it, anyway.
3)Bush relied on propaganda to sell the war? Again, he knew the kind of people he was dealing with. Suddenly, in 2003 George Bush became a blithering idiot that had started lying to get what he wanted? Good job on the sudden realization thang, Scott.

The one thing I like about this is that it's one more confirmation, by someone on the inside, that Bush is a lying, blithering, idiotic, evil moron. Perhaps it can be used in his war crimes trial, who knows?

And this morning, clueless Perino issued a statement, claiming the administration is completely befuddled and amazed by what Scott has done. He is clearly showing a side they never saw before, and is just another disgruntled former staffer.
Right...
