What's Wrong With People?

Latest Gallup poll:

McCain (R) 47%, Obama (D) 44%

Seriously? 47 percent? McBush is leading?

If McBush wins, the people who voted for him have to pay for the rest of the war.

Seriously, people need to be made to understand the impact on the Supreme Court (and thus, the country) if McCain gets elected. It's like no one's paying attention to the fact that Stevens is 88 & Ginsburg is 75 and if McCain is the president, he'll get to appoint more people like Roberts (who is 53), Alito, and Thomas (58 & 59 respectively). All these bullshit temper tantrums from Clinton supporters declaring that they'll vote for McCain or sit out the election rather than vote for Obama is starting to piss me off - don't they get what the consequences of their actions will be??

How can I sign-up to be polled? Honestly...I mean it! I have yet to come into contact with anyone in my 41 years of existence that has EVER been polled. So, who are these people? And how can we assist the kind folks at Gallup to perhaps gain access to a more "mainstream" electorate?

Normally I would shun anyone cold-calling me, but in light of what appears to be a dirth of literate Americans to include in their sampling, I'll volunteer. Where was this poll taken? Kentucky??

Me, me, me, Livefree. I got polled once - back in 2000, I think it was, though it could have been 2004. But then...I've been voting for a lot longer than you so it's only fair...your turn will come. :)

Couldn't agree more with CEU's post....the Dems, Independents, and disenchanted Repubs had better understand there are huge consequences in regards to the Supreme Court in this election cycle. No one got it during the 2004 election and I am praying that they wake up in 08......a President is gone in 4 or 8 years, we will live with Roberts and Alito decisions for 25 to 30 years!

Actually that poll is not bad considering the free ride in the press that McCain has gotten, not to mention that Billary is doing McCain's work for him on Obama. Once this whole primary fiasco is over and it's a straight up two-person race, those poll numbers should change for the better.
