Grover Norquist Is A Douchebag
“Norquist dropped by The Times’ Washington bureau today and, as part of his negative critique of Obama’s liberal stances on economic issues and other matters, he termed the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee ‘John Kerry with a tan.’”
Grover used to dream about one day drowning government in a bathtub. Quotes like this are partly why Bush Republicans of his ilk are the ones who are drowning.

Remember all the focus group testing they were doing months ago, to see how far they could push the racism?
This is how it begins. They will toss comments like this now and then to gauge the reaction. If there is no hue and cry from the anyone, they'll gradually start getting nastier and nastier.
Should Barack Obama or any surrogate make a nasty comment about Senator Palpatine's age, however, they'll cry like babies.

No, no, it's not racist; it's just misunderstood, just like Nader's comments about Barack Obama trying to "talk white."
We need some in-depth analysis by the psychobabble experts on why it's harmless, and we're over-reacting. Grover is really a great guy, just like Ralph.

John Kerry with a tan, eh?
Hmmm.... I guess that would make Grover a prick with ears.

Black and tan? You mean Obama is really one of those guys who were imported into Ireland to suppress the Irish revolt?
