Off-shore Drilling
I support off-shore drilling in just one place: the coastline of Kennebunkport. Years of messy exploration followed by dozens of giant platforms. In Kennebunkport only.

Heh. Shouldn't you also be for acres and acres of wind turbine farms in Crawford Texas?

I gotta disagree. There are lots of lots of us who didn't vote for Bush and who would be hurt by drilling off Kennebunkport. HOWEVER, drilling ON the estate at Kennebunkport - that I could support.

This sounds like the argument in "Field of Dreams". Sell the farm Ray, I'm keeping the farm. I could bail you out from debt (lower pump prices).

Ha.
Let's drill in Crawford too, right next to the turbines. >:)
I only ask you rescue the Scottish terriers first, please (they don't deserve such selfish owners). Oh, and any horses that may be on el rancho falso.

Watch Olbermann tonight (repeats at 10 EDT, segment starts at about 1/2 past) KO talks about "The Enron Loophole" and why the oil futures traders were able to artificially inflate the price of oil, Republican deregulation, and McCain's voting record on it. And guess who had a big hand in the deregulation? Wendy Gramm, wife of Phil Gramm. I missed a lot of what was said, but it's pretty damn interesting.
