The Gotham Font
I just discovered the name of the font that the Obama campaign has been using -- it's called 'Gotham' and it's based on the NYC Port Authority sign. I just spent a couple minutes experimenting with it. Here's a self-made logo using the 'Gotham Medium' variation which is also used in the official Change We Can Believe In logo:

Yeah, I'm a graphic design geek. Wanna fight?

Instead of fighting, how about I just tease you by mentioning I've known the font is Gotham since this article came out in January:

Hey now, I knew about it too, but only because my boss is a big Obama fan, and a big fonts fan.
