Democrat?
Senator Lieberman explains what he's going to say at the Republican convention:
"I'm gonna go to explain why I, as an Independent Democrat, am supporting John McCain, hoping I can convince other Independents and Democrats to join me in choosing the man who is clearly more ready to be the president America needs."
Whatever. But what struck me as odd was, "I, as an Independent Democrat..." He's not a Democrat. He left the party in order to steal the 2006 election. Or, is "Independent Democrat" his official party affiliation now?

I think his official party affiliation is Connecticut for Lieberman, which totally doesn't sound self aggrandizing.

Mister Lieberman sez:
"I'm gonna go to explain why I, as an Independent Democrat, am supporting John McCain, hoping I can convince other Independents and Democrats to join me in choosing the man who is clearly more ready to be the president America needs.
Oh, and also,he does things for me of a somewhat sexual nature that Hadassah simply never would and never could. He's my little love mushmouth"

Bob, this is off-topic but hang in there for a second. I agree that there's little difference between Lieberman and a Republican.
What worries me more is the idea that the Democratic National Convention in Denver is planning on replicating Bush Administration "Free Speech Zones."
The use of "Free Speech Zones" ought to be offensive to every American citizen. That the Bush Administration would choose this makes sense since they appear to have nothing but disdain for the Constitution if it isn't enabling their "unitary executive" wet dreams.
However, I can't imagine why the Democrats would choose this as a way for protestors to engage their Constitutionally given rights of free speech.
Bob, I'm asking if you would put your weight behind this issue. Why should I continue to support the Democratic party if they have such disdain for "free speech." We have a free speech zone and it's called our "international border and coastline from sea to shining sea.
I cant imagine a more stupid move by a Party that claims to stand for something other than lawlessness. We are "Royally" fucked!

The Denver PD has also ordered 88 of these babies:

If it's any consolation, the ACLU has filed suit to prevent protesters from being caged behind chicken wire, 200 yards from the delegates. Here's what they've got so far:
