He's Not Even President Yet
MCCAIN: I believe that, when he said that we had to leave Iraq, and we had to be out by last March, and we had to have a date certain, that was in contravention to -- and still is -- the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General David Petraeus.
Duh. Anyway, I hate to bring up age but he's not even the president yet. Factoring in the stress associated with the Oval Office and how it dramatically ages its occupants, can you imagine "President McCain" two years into his presidency? Barely holding it together -- ordering an off-shore drilling platform to be constructed along the coast of Iowa and authorizing "General Hospital" to bomb the nuclear sites in Ireland. I mean, if he's a mess now... imagine what he'll be like a year, two years, three years from now.

Should we mention that Petraeus is not the Joint Chiefs of Staff? That's Adm. Mike Mullen.
Just in case people, like McCain, didn't know.

C'mon, now, John. Picky, picky, picky. McOld IS the foreign policy, military expert.
Sheesh - it's a gaffe a day from this guy.

Bob, we don't need to be like the rethugs. I listened to/watched the clip several times, and he said that General Petraeus said it, and that the Chairman of JCS said it. He really didn't say Petraeus is the JCS Chairman.
He makes so many real fuck-ups, let's not be like the GOP and call him on something when it isn't so.
And anybody who's seen my comments here knows I loathe McLame and am embarassed that he was ever in my navy.
