Morning Awesome
From yesterday's Stage 16 of the Tour de France. Barloworld's John Lee Augustyn falls over the edge of the Col de la Bonette-Restefond.

I wonder how long it took them to retrieve the bike?

Nope -- there's a mountain hermit riding a sweet bike right now.

That was a wild wreck eh Bob!
Leading the stage and whooopsy!
Did you watch L'Alpe-d'Huez today? (well yesterday now).
Carlos Sastre, awesome ride, may have won himself the Tour De France on that ride up Alpe-d'Huez.
Remember when they had that climb as the time trial a couple years back and Lance just conquered!
Wowza.
It'll be interesting to see if Evans can catch Carlos in the time trial, it'll be like '90 with LeMond going for it in the time trial and winning it!

That was a crazy wreck.

Carlos Sastre took over on the climb today, haven't seen anything like that since Lance really. (well Alberto could have matched him I bet)
Will be interesting to see if Evans can catch Sastre on the time trial, like LeMond when he won in '90...

I think Evans can do it -- catch up with Sastre in the TT, that is.
Next year is going to be a REAL battle, though. The Schlecks, Cadel, Sastre, Menchov, VDV, Kohl... plus the Astana crew: Levi, Contador, Horner, Kloden.
And how awesome have Voight and Cancellara been in the mountains?
