Oh Goodie!

TPM:

McCain told Gramm not to worry about the expected pitfalls of a campaign surrogate. Gramm will continue as an adviser and surrogate.

Senator McCain is keeping Phil Gramm on the team. Brilliant! Let the "McPorno" jokes begin again! It's Christmas in July.

UPDATE: Aw shit. Phil Gramm resigned.

You do have a GDA blog, but it'd be GDA-er if it were on blogspot. Now hold your horses, a famous guy like you most-likely gets paid wherever he tells his free jokes and influences the masses with his progressive ideology.

That's something you're going to have to take up with Arianna, not me. Blogspot is free for anybody to use (no annoying Typepad passwords to lose everytime one unknown wants to say something interesting). If it means anything, Ken Levine and Earl Pomerantz are loyal blogspot users, and if you switch over (you can still copy and paste here, if you must)...they won't pay you a dime either (though they could totally afford it).

So if any of this sells you, which I gain nothing from except the chance to be a part of your discussion, I'd be most grateful and tell you one thing I've noticed lately.

You write like Steven Weber (also of Huff Po).

Apparently neither of them are worried about the expected pitfalls of being a dick.

Here's another pitfall of campaigning: having your opponent tell the world when you'll be arriving on your secrecy shrouded Iraq tour.

And he's OUT! Does this qualify as a flip-flop??
