Oy, Oy
A new FOX News poll. I don't know which is more disturbing: the questions or the answers.
Have you heard any of your friends and neighbors say there is something about Barack Obama that scares them?
Yes 49%
No 50%Some people believe Barack Obama, despite his professed Christianity, is secretly a Muslim. Others say that is just a rumor and Obama really is a Christian as he says, and point out he's attended a Christian church for years. What do you believe -- is Obama a Muslim or a Christian?
Muslim 10%
Christian 57%
That'd be a pretty obvious example of a push poll. By asking such questions, they successfully fuel the rumors and spread the lies.
Yes... Another obvious example of the corporate media wanting Senator Obama to win.

A terrorist fist jab?
It's just hypothetical, right? They report, and we decide. Plausible deniability is all the rage these days.
BTW--I like your blog. I've read some of your stuff on HuffPo in the past, but strangely enough, I got here by Googling "Gotham font" and saw your post on Obama's font choice. I'm a quasi graphic design geek myself, currently fascinated by Obama's marketing campaign. Good post!
FWIW, my graphical interpretation of McSame can be seen here.

That first question just made me lose the power of speech for a minute. Are they kidding me?
And those number don't make sense. What about the 37% of people who surely told the Pollsters that they were the spawn of the devil and should go f*ck themselves...

And of course, it's a Fox News audience, so the intelligence of those polled is suspect to begin with.
So the result is that 10% of Fox News viewers still believe Obama is a Muslim, 49% think the POW experience would make a candidate a better President and 49% of "friends and neighbors" (doublespeak for "you") are scared of a black man running the country.
Fair and balanced.

BTW, you are dead right about 'corporate media': it sounds very natural.
