'Presumptuous'
That's the new word from the corporate media regarding Senator Obama's trip. Presumptuous. I heard it spoken by a CNN anchor during the web feed. Joe Klein mentioned it -- and, oddly, noted the racism of it, but attributed the word and the racism to "voters" rather than the very serious BBQ Crowd. And GottaLaff reports that CNN's Candy Crowley said it after the speech today.
For months, the question has been: When and how will he cross the commander-in-chief theshold? And now that he has, he's being presumptuous.
Your liberal media.

I love the way his campaign is taking the high road. Neither his campaign nor his surrogates go on and on about his presidentialness, or the fact that he's crossed that threshold. And I'm willing to bet that his entire campaign is under strict orders to never, ever refer to that awesome new plane with the appellation of "One". I'm waiting patiently for some right wing-nut or commentator to make an issue of it, however.
My point is, he's not out there 'acting' presidential and making a big deal about it, he's out there BEING presidential. More so in the past few days than our own president has managed in the past 7 years.

Yes, yes, the liberal media is so in the can for Obama, it's so damn obvious.
Have you been watching electoral-vote.com? McCain's closing the gap. I so don't get it.
absolutely. do. not. get. it.

Well, the McBush side has the right to be jealous! After all, the prez can't even pronounce 'ATHLETE' and McCain can't read!
If the media keeps on keeping on with the critism of Sen Obama its because the right owns them. I'm so scared the republican prgramming by repetition will prevail. I believe if Obama loses, we need to have a revolution!(a peaceful one)
