McCain was scheduled to deliver his acceptance speech Thursday but now may do so from the devastation zone if the storm hits the U.S. coast with the ferocity feared by forecasters.
Ah yes. Using "devastation" as a backdrop for a political speech. Classy. Reminds me of Senator McCain's former colleague Bill Frist who, while visiting Sri Lanka after the tsunami, said to his photographer:
"Get some devastation in the back."
