Bob,

I don't have time for TV but I made an exception yesterday to watch the entire last day. I switched between CNN, MSNBC and CPSAN.

I watched CSPAN exclusively for the last 2 hours because I couldn't stand the bullshit that is CNN. It did seem though that Chris Matthews facade broke in some way.

I can't even read HuffPo anymore because of all the empty BS from the GOP they put there to appear as balanced.

CPSAN is as good as being there, and my love was for the whole day. She's exhausted but loves the fact that she is part of history and will continue to play a part for years to come.

Political Asshat Mark Halperin just leaked all over Morning Joe about a secret midnight charter flight from Anchorage, AK to Dayton last night, hinting that maybe Sarah "The Uterus" Palin is McCain's Veep pick.

To which I say: OH PLEASE GOD YES, LET IT BE PALIN! OH FOR THE LOVE OF MONKEYS LET IT BE PALIN! PAAAYYY-LINNNNNN!!!!

Please be that cynical, McCain. Please shine a big fat spotlight on your shit record with women. Please give us the platform to remind everyone how you shit on your busted-up first wife to go whoring with a 25 year-old loaded beer queen. Please put an ardent pro-lifer on your ticket so we can remind Real Women -- not the sex-traitor PUMA types but actual thinking women -- why they vote as Democrats. Please. You stupid old fuck.

My husband and I watched the speech last night and were mesmerized. It's been a long time since I've felt any pride in being an American, but I felt it last night. The upcoming debates should be a hoot! Obama will clean McBush's clock.

I'd also just like to say that this morning's front page at HuffPo moved me to tears. Not because it was a vivid and stirring reminder of last night's triumph of spirit and Party, but because its splash of national newspaper covers is the absolute antithesis of another collection of papers I saw recently at the magnificent Newseum in Washington, D.C. Nearly seven years after the events of 9/11 we finally have a story worthy of the common purpose of heart and mind that Bush so cynically and pathetically squandered in the months following that day; nearly seven years later we finally have an explosion of news as thrilling, as uplifting, as full of hope and promise as those blasts on 9/11 were full of fear and horror and insanity. Finally.

The headlines across all those papers this morning declare a new American dream, a new hope, in the same unified voice -- now raised high in exultation -- that screamed "BASTARDS!" and "UNTHINKABLE" and "INFAMY" atop photos of collapse and ruin. This morning’s front pages will knit themselves together into a mosaic of hope and promise that will finally heal the deep wounds Bush and Cheney refused to let heal; they are the antidote to our great national sickness, and we will be cured.

Truly an inspirational collection, HuffPo. Thank you!

And speaking of CNN, (and I just sent Bob an email on this), one of the first things I noticed about CNN's coverage is that almost every single shot of individuals in the crowd, it seemed to me that they focused on some "interesting" choices. It's almost as if they chose to show people maybe a little too caught up in the moment. They seemed almost fanatical. I fully believe that finding individuals "wild-eyed" was the directive.

I wouldn't be the slightest bit surprised if the rabid right doesn't get some of those shots screen captured and then use them to try to resurrect the failed "cult" meme.

Oh, and Wolf Blitzer is a tool..
