MTP -- WTF?

Why did Tom Brokaw just bring up -- totally at random -- General Clark's "getting shot down" comment?

Brokaw is awful this morning. We're 15 minutes in and there hasn't been a single challenging question for Lieberman. Not one. Seriously.

Here's a question that Brokaw,Russert, nor anyone else has ever asked Lie-berman:"How do you sleep at nite".

This was just awful all the way around. Someone explain to me why it is OK for McCain to be against raising taxes but is being prudent and showing good judgment when he says everything is on the table regarding social security, but when Obama says that he is opposed to off-shore drilling but is open to limited drilling to open the doors to other innovations to create energy independence he's a flip flopper. And screw Brokaw for saying the bloggers are all screaming "flip-flopper". Like we are all mindless drones who are not serious enough to understand nuance. Ass.

Sorry about the double post.

I sat there with my jaw on the floor after the segment. It makes you realize how good Tim Russert was as moderating the show. Lieberman was constantly interrupting Kerry (who could've been more forceful) and Brokaw just sat there and didn't intervene...except to agree with Holy Joe!

From the second Brokaw asked his first question, "Do you think running a campaign ad in which you feature Britney Spears and Paris Hilton with Barack Obama is respectful?" and Lieberman answered "I do," I was thankful that I didn't have anything in my hand or else I'd be getting a new TV today.
