Jebus Bob!
Why don't you say what you REALLY mean?
This is just another astounding!
I wish the hell the NYT would publish your stuff.
EVERYONE needs to read this, all 300 million of us, and parents and care givers should read it to their kids, care receivers!
REQUIRED READING.
I wanna work to get this out there, to every person to whom msm and McStain are totally relating.
If we can just get people to THINK, honest to God authentic personal THOUGHTS, Obi would cinch a White House win, and we could let the trials begin!
Thanks, Bob.
for some reason, when I read your stuff, i get the feeling there's a real reason to continue to have hope.

Well, I guess my fiance and I are very exotic, because Hawaii is our favorite vacation destination. We try to go at least once a year. By the way, I'm retired and disabled, on a fixed income, and my fiance is a mid-level management employee at a local junior college. We aren't exactly rollin' in dough.
I just wish I could be as financially "normal" and "average American" as John McCain and his wife.

I remember another famous family that vacationed in Hawaii many years ago. They were quite "exotic"....The Brady Bunch!

Bob: not quite pitch perfect. A friendly criticism, if you don't mind. Please drop this "barbecue media" thing. First, it's not really funny. Second, it doesn't have any satiric or parody value. Third, it presumes that the reader knows the back story. Fourth, there really is no back story other than that the media fraternize with the people they purport to cover, an issue which is neither limited to McCain and Republicans nor news to anyone who follows current events. Fifth, the term is never going to take off as a meme or a catchphrase of the kind that Atrios has a talent for coining. And finally, trite terms like "barbecue media" and "McBush" trivialize the tone of your message, which I happen to think is very important. There are times when your delivery is killer --- when you're so worked up about something that the words write themselves with perfect pitch. But not this time.

Let me get me get this straight, the point you are trying to make in your convoluted rant is that a Republican candidate has more money than a democrat. Hmmm? Lets run the stats on both houses of congress and see how the whole wealth class envy thing plays out! Obama is REALLY in trouble if that’s the best you can do to support him. He is an empty suit with no substance and he is going to loose this election in a land slide.

Pitch. Perfect.
And Stewie, let's hear the numbers. Let's hear the net worth of Dems in the House/Senate vs. the net worth of House/Senate Republicans.

alright, we all know that john mcsame has more money than any of us ever will. the point remains (bob cesca's awesome goddam point!), is that somehow, the image of the "real" american has been usurped by a bunch of rich, old, pasty white guys who can't even stand up to paris hilton! c'mon! we have let this happen! i read the comments on the huffpo article and they are all wondering how they can make a difference! talk to everyone you know! write letters to your local paper! most of us "real" americans have very diffenrent tales to tell than what we are being asked to swallow by the msm.non-rich, non-pasty, non-old white dudes unite! bob cesca, you go on with your bad self!i always look to you as a voice of reason, and a voice that will be heard. BUYH, keep up the good work

It was either that or email it, in toto, to my 57 regulars. Is that okay? Pfft. Would do it anyway.
Still tho, hate you and your sentences.
