America-Hater
Where was Governor Palin's American flag pin? Why does she hate America?

When I caught a glimpse of the pin she was wearing last night, from a distance I thought it looked like a tiny little dollar bill.

Sarah Palin dleivered an incredible speech for a small slice of America that ALREADY supports the GOP ticket. As great a speech as it was, I do do feel there is a cotton candy aspect to it in that there was nothing there --attacks, LIES, glibness, sarcasm--again, a great speech for the base-and a great speech for OUR base as well.
I also feel there is a Gary Hart aspect in that the unintended consequence of egging the press on--her record will be under EVEN more scrutiny than it has been.I do find it funny that our BBQ media (as predicted on most blogs) fell over themselves praising the well delivered, but negative speech filled with LIES--all the while there was really nothing about the issues that people care about.
Remember, the BBQ media (cable especially) will frantically go back and forth on both sides. This will wear off in 6 hours when they start asking when they can start interviewing her. The BBQers love drama and nasty negative campaigning--that's all this was. Obama/Biden need to keep on keepin on hammering away at the issues--and after last night...we know this ticket is EVEN MORE of the same.

Polling was done before Palin's speech, but according to Gallup, Obama's lead seems to be holding through the Thompson & Lieberman speeches, and at least part of the hate-fest we saw last night.

I wish the damn commentaters would stop saying how smart Palin is. Do they think if they say it often enough it will be true??

When will she give an f'in interview. I can't believe people are letting her get away without giving an interview in her first week. This is only giving her time to be taught by the Bush/McCain campaign (if anyone has seen the newsweek artilce). Not that those idiots can teach her much, but they can teach her what to say to look like she knows something.

Ceu, I don't doubt that she is smart. I doubt that she is smart enough.
