And the McCain campaign announced that Palin's next interview is with Hannity.

I bought Kutner's book on Amazon yesterday after seeing this clip. I think the guy deserves to get a best seller for what he did here...and the book is likely a good read as well!

After the Gibson fiasco? Of coure it's with Hannity! And they'll hand him the exact questions he's supposed to ask and they'll have Palin's responses on a teleprompter for her to answer and Alan Combes will be off the set, tied up in the janitor's closet with a ball-gag in his mouth.

The choice of Hannity shows that they know she can't handle being interviewed by anyone other than a Faux News talking head.

Best unemployment in the last 4 DECADES? That brings us all the way back to 1968... Who makes up statistics like this?

Know what I'd like to see? For once, I'd like to see a much louder guy than the FOX screamers. Or maybe a gun owner pulls out a gun and says "my contract says I get my 2 minutes to talk, and my gun says you shut up and let me have it."

Ok, maybe that's a little extreme. Maybe it would be good if one of the talking heads on our side went on these shows with flash cards so when the host starts screaming they can put up little signs:

"If you can read this - you're smarter than this guy."

"I'll start talking when he stops yelling."

"Tired of America being the country everyone loves to hate yet? Blowhards like this aren't helping."

Speaking of crappy economy this article scares the crap out of me:

http://www.michiganmessenger.com/4076/lose-your-house-lose-your-vote?this_country=is_farked

It especially strikes a nerve with me because I found myself in the "homeless" boat temporarily towards the end of 2002 and it did render me unable to vote!

I'll grant you that the cause of my homelessness was a combination of divorce and disability, but regardless I found myself staying with friends and relatives in both Nebraska and Kansas for brief enough periods of time that hopefully none of them began planning my untimely demise.

But regardless of the reason, it sucks to basically become a "non-citizen" ............. lacking the ability to register to vote anywhere! Disenfranchised hardly seems like a strong enough word!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

QueenTiye, I had the same reaction. Unemployment is better than it was 40 years ago? What the Christ? That's like saying we have higher employment than the moon. Why do you hate America so much? Would you rather live on the moon? Good luck finding a job there, pinko.

I'm 30 years old. I frame houses in North Carolina. We built maybe 15-18 houses last year. We've built only 2 since May. Even if work picks up soon (and there's no sign it will), we won't even do half as well as last year. Contracting firms are going bankrupt. Lumber yards are laying off drivers. I couldn't give a shit how unemployment affected people's hopes and plans 4 DECADES ago. I need work! If I ever get word that Sean Hannity has come to NC, I will wear his head for a hat.

That's typical of the kind of response anyone who challenges the GOP line on Fox "News". Most of the so-called democrats who on that channel either end up agreeing with Hannity or O'Reilly or they let themselves get bullied.

You can just hear it in Hannity's voice that he's so annoyed that someone with a backbone somehow got past the screeners and was allowed to actually fight back against his bullying tactics. I'll bet you that right after this episode was taped, there was an assistant producer who got ripped a new one for allowing Kutner on the show.

It is plain that Hannity is an attention starved brat who thrives solely on the attention he gets from being an obtuse, argumentative, devil's advocate for failed policy. What is sadder still is that we have reached a point where facts and issues no longer matter - it's merely a question of who shouts louder and appears to shout with more certainty. We have replaced being right with being confident, and confidence is recognized not by accuracy or congruence with facts, but by the ability to express the lie in a pithy little soundbite. Fuck winning the argument, I just want someone to stand up, shout FUCK YOU, FASCIST at Hannity and beat the little fuck to a bloody pulp on live television.
