John McCain: BlackBerry Inventor!

As the avalanche of McNutjob's lies continues to take down the mountain of his reputation, he and his team are now lying about truly insane shit.
The latest, in an eerie echo of the "Gore invented the internet" lie the GOP played like a fiddle in 2000: that McCain is responsible for the invention of the BLACKBERRY!
Asked what work John McCain did as Chairman of the Senate Commerce Committee that helped him understand the financial markets, the candidate's top economic adviser wielded visual evidence: his BlackBerry."He did this," Douglas Holtz-Eakin told reporters this morning, holding up his BlackBerry. "Telecommunications of the United States is a premier innovation in the past 15 years, comes right through the Commerce committee so you're looking at the miracle John McCain helped create and that's what he did."
As Reed Hundt at TPM points out, BlackBerries are made in Canada, by a Canadian company, Research In Motion, that has absolutely nothing to do with telecom laws in John McNutjob's America:
"John McCain is so out of touch that his economics adviser thinks he deserves credit for creating a Canadian company."
Out of touch? Full of shit? Senile? One thing is clear: UNFIT.

Let's have a look through the Commerce Committee record and see what other gems we can attribute to the fine Senator, shall we?

You know, I believe we should flog him for this, just because it's sheer lunacy, but it feels intellectually dishonest to understand that "Al Gore said he invented the internet" is a lie, while maintaining the position that the McCain campaign claimed he invented the blackberry.
But ah, what the hell, the McCain campaign is lying with impunity, why can't we?

Yeah, the late night comics will take care of this... In the meantime, people are losing their jobs, homes and savings, with global repercussions. Let's focus people. We win on the Economy. McCain and Mooselini know sweet FA about how it works, and their advisors are responsible for our current problem. Team Obama need to be relentless about this.

McCain never said he invented the Blackberry. One of his staff was making a joke because Al Gore claimed that HE invented the internet. It wasn't a very good joke... but it wasn't serious and MCCAIN never said it. But I think it's hilarious that all these moronic Democrats are taking about it which just brings more attention TO McCain and the media keeps feeding their ignorance. Keep it up!!!!
