I have mixed feelings about Huff Post.

I'm glad that it introduced many people such as myself to you and other great bloggers. On the other hand, its censors allowed maybe 20% of the posts that I wrote to be published.
Resultantly, I never visit it anymore.

McCain has had 30+ years to connect with the American People, The Republican Party, and the Media.

Well, one out of 3 is pretty good, eh?

If they're saying that Obama should be winning in a landslide - isn't that an admission that their party sux? And that they are equally dismayed as to why their party continues to show any signs of life?

Zombies - that's who Obama's facing. Republican Zombies.

Bob, you're the greatest.

I used to love Huffington Post, but I'm kind of with MG on this...I don't comment there much, so I haven't had to deal with the censoring, but I did get really tired of the "Obama needs to" & "He should've picked Hillary" posts.

Bob,
An idea/ feeling has been running around my head about McSame. Is he getting senile? He can't remember from one minute to the next what he is for or against and he can't even put together thoughts that are related and verbalize them in a coherent manor. Have you noticed? It seems to me someone should put a youtube video together of all the McCain stumbles in front, behind, to the side and especially off camera and then ask the question "Is this the person you want to protect your future?" "Is this the person you want to answer the red phone?" Is this the person you want to have the nuclear codes and the person who has his finger on the button with the power to launch our nuclear missiles?"
I know I don’t.

You and Chaz and the occasional post by RFK,jr are the only reason I go to Huff post anymore. Awesome one today. I am so sick of the cable news anymore, never watch anyone other than Keith and Rachel. Have been tuning into Charlie Rose the past week or so. Very good viewing I must say. He had the founder of Lehman Bros. on last night. NO ONE has contacted him for advice. He was bewildered.

You know something is wrong with the media when even Rove goes after McCain and they don't. Just stunning how awful they have all become.

Jerryk,
I've noticed that too!
WHEN are they gonna start pointing that out?
If Obama and get his points made in a TIMELY fashion during the debates, it will amplify this even more.

Jerry - is he getting senile? appears so. And the same people who hid Reagan's Alzheimer's are hoping we won't notice.

Huffington Post has its points - not least of which is Bob himself. But I use it mostly to populate my own blog when I don't have time to write.

Excellent post--as usual Bob. The only thing I'll add is the "fake balance" that permeates the less hostile MSM. And that balance tends to overcompensate in favor of the Republicans--this, of course, due to the "liberal media" label that has been bandied about for 30 years.

One other point, about the "Obama should be ahead by more" concern trolls. This is essentially a tacit nod to the fact that Obama stands with the VAST majority of American people on the issues--and yet, the concern trolls refuse to talk about them--almost artificially making the the race close. The fact that most people do not realize that Mccain=Bush is a direct result of the right-wing echo chamber kicking up dust, and the MSM complicity in that.

this was an excellent point and one that should be talked about more. Being a music Blogger I have often written about the Clear Channels monopoly on music. Repetitive playlists drowning out the music culture, much like the abundance of right wing political voices drowning the airwaves.

Artifact,

I call it cookie cutter music. I work in radio (part-time) thank god. The whole industry has gone down hill since the Communication Act of 1986. Basically, it gave birth to all these trolls like Rush and Co.

Bob,

Do you have any good AM talk in Kutztown?
