Drudge Has Finally Snapped
Tonight's banner headline from The Fedoron:

This is all at once hilarious, creepy and just a little scary. What's he up to? I mean, the headline doesn't link to anything. It's just a broad run-on statement suggesting that everyone is wrong except him.

I believe the answer he's looking for is "YES".

Hopefully, he and his fellow conservatives like Bill Kristol are just going through the denial phase right now.
It does creep me out though, along with all these reports of people getting taken off the voter rolls.
I think I'd better vote early tomorrow.

Colonel please vote early tomorrow. You will be one less in the lines on election day making it easier for all our brethren and sistren who did not vote early. That is a major reason we are begging folks to do it early.

The answer to his question is "No."

Poleeeezzz, that's perhaps the only argument that makes sense to me (to vote early).

I'm a little paranoid... and this doesn't help. I wish NY had early voting.

On a totally different topic, did you guys see the video on Wonkette where Joe Biden tells a kid reporter what the VP does?
At the end, the kid says "Joe Biden is now my homeboy." It's one of the cutest things ever.

I am not a conspiracy theorist, but I honestly believe they are planting the seeds to steal the election in the event that it is close--
Same way they did in '00 and '04--both cases where the exit polling was wrong--something that is very, very rare--and pretty much unheard of until Rove and Bush came to town.
The key is to CRUSH them. They can only steal a close election.

I am getting a little concerned about the hammering of the "socialist" label by Fixed News. They are deliberately lying to their audience and are going all in on that message plus the message of "the country will be destroyed under one party Dem rule."
They are not a news outlet, but they are good at convincing the American Idiot, and I have honestly never seen them this aggressive.

Today is Matt's birthday for those of you who may have forgotten. And here is a chapter in his inspiring life story...
Matthew Drudge, raised in Takoma Park, Maryland, near Washington, DC, is an only child. His parents are Jewish liberal Democrats who both worked for the federal government.[1] His father Robert Drudge, a former social worker who owns the reference site www.refdesk.com [1] and his mother, a former staff attorney for Ted Kennedy,[2] divorced when he was six. Drudge went to live with his mother.[1] He had few friends but was an avid news reader and radio talk show fan.[1][3] In his book Drudge Manifesto, Drudge reports that he "failed his Bar Mitzvah", and graduated 341st out of a class of 355 from Northwood High School in 1984, thus giving himself, in his words, a "more than adequate curriculum vitae for a post at 7-Eleven".[1]
He was arrested at age 15, on June 18, 1981, for making annoying telephone calls.[2] After the arrest, Drudge went to live with his father on a farm on the eastern shore of Maryland. But before long his father sent Drudge back to Washington to live with his unemployed mother. Drudge was then placed in psychiatric treatment with Jewish Social Services.[2] It was recommended that the boy be sent to a boarding school, "and if not the last choice will be a foster home" (from court papers).[2]

And does anyone notice that the rhetoric coming from the right is getting pretty basic and repetitive:
"Obama = Taxes = Marxism = Communism"
Did Rush give some talking point marching orders to the ditto-heads or what? I mean, how pathetic do you have to get to start pointing your finger and shouting "Communist! Communist!" It's so 50 years ago...

If this election causes Drudge to snap America will be a much better place. Having witnessed the stupid that a link from Drudge can bring to a comments thread this will improve our image abroad as well. So good if he snaps...

I have a fantasy YouTube video in my head: Indiana Jones grabbing that hat off Drudge's head and smacking him with it.

I don't wish Drudge or anybody to be afflicted with mental illness.
I just want him to go away.
