I love it. Biden kicked some serious ass on this one.

I enjoyed Biden's responses -- he was blunt, and that's just what a v.p. candidate should be. The questions were contemptible drivel. Marxism? They really are playing to the idiot gallery now. Apparently, even supporting the progressive income tax, or mentioning that there are poor people in our midst, makes one a full-bore commie. I'll venture that not a single one of the Republicans making these charges has ever read a paragraph of Marx. If they did, they might just realize that old Karl was a hell of a lot more intelligent and learned than they are. Whatever one thinks of Marx's social philosophy or his predictions about capitalism's demise, he's one of the best authors to read on how that system, stripped to its essentials, actually works.

I was nice in a snarky way (or is that snarky in a nice way?). And I CCed it to the General Manager of the station. It's so great to see Biden treat her like the imbecile she is--calmly laughing at her.

@QT - I have trouble with that word too, and it's one of the few and almost only (besides the n-word or other ethnic epithets). I grew up during the women's rights movement and that one just reeks of (understatement) disrespect. I easily tolerate it from others but raraly can make myself use it (and I cringe when I do and must have a Really Good Reason). So, as we said in the 70s, don't feel pregnant.
