Miss South Carolina - Part 2

WTF???!!!

The first half is entirely incoherent. What's with the totally random "flexible" she threw in there? I mean, it was literally a string of random phrases. Duh, duh, duh!

And then she wraps up her remarks with a complete and total misunderstanding of the vice presidency and separation of powers. The vice president is no more a part of the legislative branch than vetoing or signing legislation makes the president a part of the legislative branch. "So chooses"? Good God. On further analysis since Thursday night, I think this line is less Cheney-ish and more Total-Fucking-Doof-ish.

But she gave Rich Lowry and the rest of her Fanboys their very first chubbies, so... QUALIFIED!

By way of a refresher, here's her previous nonsensical reply about the vice presidency from Thursday night's debate:

Well, our founding fathers were very wise there in allowing through the Constitution much flexibility there in the office of the vice president. And we will do what is best for the American people in tapping into that position and ushering in an agenda that is supportive and cooperative with the president's agenda in that position. Yeah, so I do agree with him that we have a lot of flexibility in there, and we'll do what we have to do to administer very appropriately the plans that are needed for this nation. And it is my executive experience that is partly to be attributed to my pick as V.P. with McCain, not only as a governor, but earlier on as a mayor, as an oil and gas regulator, as a business owner. It is those years of experience on an executive level that will be put to good use in the White House also.

Remember -- and I can't underscore this enough -- this is the gig she's running for! She wants to be the vice president of the United States and this is how she responds to questions about the job? Put it another way, if you were interviewing your surgeon before an open heart procedure and this is how he or she responded, would you not crap your pants and run away? I would.

Adding... Some constitutional law from Professor Willis.

Bob if my surgeon said something like that, I would have to suggest that they spend a little more time sharpening their skills on corpses before we traveled together down that long hallway on the gurney.

She's totally winging it and her handlers are telling her what an awesome job she's, flexible and all, doing at it. I mean, she could have at least wiki'd the fucking thing for crying out loud and gotten a short history of what others have done in the role. Instead she's making it up as she goes along and no one is taking her aside and correcting her.
She is George Bush all over again. Completely uninformed and uninterested in being informed even after being repeatedly told how things really work.

Here's the good news as I see it. They do believe they got their Smashing Victory over Joe Biden the other night. This means we can look forward to more and more interviews like this. They believe they've stumbled onto a winning formula and they're going to run with it. They think the hooples love it and are going to pour forth from their trailers and vote in huge numbers come November 4th.

They're going to lose on it.

No self-respecting honest to goodness non-ideological conservative is going to vote for this half-wit and her pet geriatric. I think they will simply stay home and cross their fingers for something a little more sane next time around.
What's painful to watch is the media not calling her on it. Why don't any of these clowns give her a history lesson? We don't expect it from the bootlicking fascist wannabees at FoxNews, but hell, you'd think some of the others would pipe up and say fucking something.

I kind of love this interview in a perverse sort of way. She's said absolutely nothing, and she said it very badly. Well, she as much said "I have no fucking idea what I'm doing." Go Sarah!! and such as, *winky crinkle!*

Isn't it just sad and pathetic that THIS, Sarah Palin, is what our political system and government has come to?

People thought Bush was bad, and he is bad, but his bafoonery is NOTHING compared to Palin. She is WORSE than Bush. Palin brings who new meanings to the word unqualified.

I was just saying to a friend last night that its sad how flat-out lies pass for campaigning these days. Now ontop of lies we have someone who is completely clueless about basically everything a candidate for the presidency should know.

Oh and the reason the media doesn't call her out on it is pretty simple:

They want to milk their horserace as long as they possibly can for ratings. Keep calling the race "close" and people will tune in to see whats going on.

Oh, that was just SO Miss. South Carolina of her. Alright, this IS scary now.

Maybe, if ya drop some acid and then listen to her speak, she'll make some sense? I doubt it, though...

At least Miss South Carolina was smoking hot in her stupidity. Americans can tolerate utter buffoonery in their hot, sexy blonde Miss Teen USA candidates -- hell, we sort of prefer them that way -- but I've never seen the GILF Factor in Governor Palin. I wouldn't fuck her with McCain's withered old junk.

Perhaps the dropping of the acid could help on that front as well, Elvis...but I kinda doubt that too. Yes, here in SC, we're proud of the smokin' hot dumb blondes that our public school systems keep churnin' out...the gift that just keeps on giving.

"McCain's withered old junk." Poor Cindy Lou...I'm sure she has to chemically alter herself to deal with that too. Ick.

HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! Dropping acid! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!! She's like a bad acid trip I'll give you that much! She's like a burned out speed freak.

How hard can it possibly be to memorize something and just spew it out? FOX lets her practice and here, she can't even get that right?
