New Huffington Post Column

Sarah Six-pack needs to step off.

In it, I used the word "hooplehead" a lot.

Spot on. Its not showing up on the front page of Huffpo for some reason though.

Hooplehead is deffinantly a new one on me.

I have a different word for her, but I'd be ripping off McCranky if I said it.

On the topic of Palin:

Number 2 had me gasping for air while I was in my car this afternoon with the Top10 on the radio.

Nailed it as usual, Bob. Forwarding the link to all the idjits I know who still think she's the neatest thing since sliced bread. Ugh.

Genius--you are such a talent. I disagree with one thing. While, Bush did have the benefit of traveling in the circles of rarefied intellectual air--it doesn't seem to have taken. In fact, he has such an oddly romantic sense of himself as "gut player" that he is quite comfortable ignoring reality--and that in conjunction with his incurious nature and metaphysical certitude, places him (in my book) along side Palin with any real difference.

Bob, you've inspired me yet again. Please accept my imitation as the sincerest form of flattery.

I disagree. I don't think we want her to step down - because who would McCain choose to replace her? Someone good with economics? Someone who will be loved by the masses who promises to solve our problems and sparks the imagination of the people who might buy monorail insurance? At this point, the GOP would love to have Romney - magic underwear doesn't seem so weird suddenly - or Giuliani or Ridge or Lieberman or even Eric Cantor!
I wrote a month ago about how outraged I was that McCain was treating this election as a joke by nominating Palin. I still am and your post echoes my thoughts on it. It's stunningly breathtaking how unqualified she is to run this country (she doesn't have a clue what being an American is all about) but with her popularity sinking like a stone, she's been a gift for the Dems with the unaffiliated voters. The more she screws up, the higher the polls go in Obama's favor. OTOH, if McCain is somehow elected, I will be supremely pissed off that idiot-woman is the VP.
Besides, people have already started voting - how would that be handled if the ticket changed now?

Actually dude you used the word "hoople" a lot. "Hooplehead" not so much.

In fact, you maintained a 3-to-1 hoople to hooplehead ratio.

I'm just sayin.
