Psychonauts Wackaloons
Another racist mob at a McCain-Palin rally. I can't repeat this enough... We simply must not let these people win this election. A close or contested victory won't do, either. We need to win by historic, tamper-proof margins -- to prove to our posterity and to the world that these disgusting people don't represent America -- to prove that this ignorant, racist element has been marginalized if not utterly crushed.
By the way, regarding all the cries of "socialism" and "communism," I've been receiving more than a few e-mails with the same accusation against Senator Obama. My reply is always the same (feel free to use this): Senator McCain voted for the socialist bailout bill! So -- sorry! -- you're voting for a socialist. If you don't want to do that, you'd better vote for Bob Barr. Seriously. Vote Barr! Vote free markets!
UPDATE: Headline revised. Forgot that 'Psychonauts' was a videogame having nothing to do with racism.

How sad that people in this country are so undereducated about political philosophies, even our own. Communism and Socialism are not the same thing - and socialism isn't some gateway drug to communism.
It may take some additional catastrophic event - an epidemic perhaps, with 47 million of us without health insurance - before they wake up to the fact that their philosophy doesn't work. The breaching of the levees after Katrina, the Iraq War, and the economic meltdown weren't enough...

Jesus. This crowd brings back the 60s Mississippi white mobs and might as well be yelling the n-word. In fact, some are probably having to hold it back with all the restraint they can muster because that is what's at the heart of this insanity. It has to be. Commies? Nobody uses that term anymore in seriousness.
@Ceu, that's scary as hell. But you may have a point.

Yes it's scary, I don't like it, I've already voted for Obama absentee but...
... could you please not use the term "Psychonauts"? That's already the title of an ingenious, imaginative, and hilarious video game, and I'd rather the title not be synonymous with racism.
Besides, your use of the term doesn't make sense, since "psychonaut" literally means "sailor of the psyche", and so you would not call someone you perceive as "psycho" a "psychonaut".
Just saying.

I have to admit, after watching that video this morning...I am really scared for this election.
If Obama loses to these people I don't know what I will do.
Does anyone really think that McCain can win with purely white voters? I mean the cultural differences in those crowds is stunning.

Disturbing. If I didn't know any better, I'd say that video was shot in 1808, or 1908, or 1958. It's saddening to realize that just when you think we've grown up enough to leave that behind... there it is. What's more, it's being encouraged and fomented by the McCain/Palin 2008. They can "repudiate" until they are out of breath. It means nothing. They thrive on this kind of hatred. Ayers is a terrorist. Liddy is an American Hero.
I'm also willing to bet that they think William Ayers is African-American.

I'm convinced that the majority of these people don't even know what socialism is. I really want the guy to ask them that question instead of do you think obama is a terrorist.
The fact that this is on the internet for the entire world to see and think that those people are representative of America or hold any sort of power in this nation is a huge reason of why they HAVE to lose.

It also saddens me to see those chilren soaking up their parents ignorant and hatred and knowing this sickness (epidemic) has legs and isn't going away too soon.

@GreenGirl:
Adam Corolla has this awesome idea that we round up all the children of the world and send them off to an island to be raised by Bill Cosby and Phylisha Rashad. 'Course, Sandra went to law school then decided to run a camping store. Denise did something way bad, 'cause she was exiled to college. Everybody hated Theo. Vanessa's hair seemed forever engaged in some effort to leave the atmosphere. Rudy spent most of her time being emotionally, and sometimes physically, abusive towards poor Kenny.
On second thought...
