Halperin Praises Hewitt and Drudge

How did I miss this? Very serious TIME Magazine reporter Mark Halperin loves him the Hugh Hewitt and Matt Drudge:

But Halperin himself couldn't be biased, could he? One recalls [Mark Halperin's] remarkable letter to far right-wing radio host Hugh Hewitt last year when he declared, "I really enjoyed our radio talk and I appreciated the opportunity to appear with someone I respect so much....As I said on the show, you and I agree on almost everything we discussed." Halperin wrote in a book he co-authored last year, "Matt Drudge rules our world...Matt Drudge is the gatekeeper... he is the Walter Cronkite of his era."

Walter Cronkite of his era? I hope the real Cronkite tracks down Halperin and goes all spider monkey on him. He may not look it, but Cronkite can still kick ass.

Testing Mark Helperin's brain...error, error. Fatal error detected. Initiate 'crazy uncle' maneuver.
