'Just So Long As I'm The Dictator'

After eight years of an administration that has tortured, invaded, eavesdropped and significantly consolidated and abused its executive power, the craziest of the wingnuts have decided that President-elect Obama is going to be a dictator. This time, it's Congressman Broun of Georgia. Earlier today, Malkin was calling the president-elect the "overlord-elect."

And guess what? If President-elect Obama so much as takes a week off in August, you can bet that the far-right will crap their cages about Obama being lazy and shiftless.

I'm telling you... It's going to be 1990s Crazy times a thousand.

Bush holds the record for most vacation days ever for a pres.

I kind of think that Malkin, Hannity, Rush and their ilk, are all a LOT less relevant than they were pre-election.
The country has spoken.

These neocon scare tactics are not going to work anymore. These guys lost a ton of their evil MoJo the night america celebrated its new president.

Fuck these dipshits, their time is past and they'll not even notice it till they are totally irrelevant.

Can we make it a rule that as soon as someone mentions "Hitler" to make their point, it cancels out anything else they're saying?

(Exception granted to Naomi Wolf, who actually does her research)

That article is a ridiculous bunch of contradictions.
>>""When he's proposing to have a national security force that's answering to him, that is as strong as the U.S. military, he's showing me signs of being Marxist."..."Among other things, he called for expanding the nation's foreign service and doubling the size of the Peace Corps"."

Um yeah, those Peace Corp types who normally wander other countries unarmed are infamous for taking our guns away since he "will move to ban gun ownership if he does build a national police force."

Jesus Hussein Particular Christ, these people sound A LOT worse than we did concerning Bush/Cheney and they really WERE out to get us and made no bones about it. While mooning us and making that nyah nyah sound.

Towards the end of the campaign, negatives only strengthened Obama's positives. At this point amidst the economic crisis, people like Broun will not be serving the larger good and will appeal to very few. How far will the racist critics go with fear tactics? They tried painting Obama as a Muslim terrorist and that didn’t work. Now they want to put a little moustache on his upper lip and turn him into Hitler. They are concerned Obama might start a death camp and they will be first to go. It's preposterous to be sure and at the same time I find it hilarious.
